By accessing or using PICParent ("the App," "our Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PICParent. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

PICParent is a community-centered parenting application designed to help African families:

• Build character and values in children
• Develop life skills through structured activities
• Create and maintain a family vision and charter
• Track developmental progress and milestones
• Strengthen parent-child connections
• Access parenting resources and guidance

The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or educational advice.

To use PICParent, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

You agree not to share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious code or content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect information about other users without consent
• Use the Service to harm or exploit children
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Free Tier: Basic features are available at no cost.

Premium Subscription: Additional features require a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and may vary based on the subscription plan selected.

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees until you cancel.

All content, features, and functionality of PICParent are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• The PICParent name, logo, and branding are our trademarks
• You retain ownership of content you create (family data, notes, etc.)
• You grant us a license to use your content to provide the Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

• We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Parenting advice is for informational purposes only
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on our content
• Results may vary; we do not guarantee specific outcomes

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PICPARENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Personal injury or property damage
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in settings.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Create risk or legal exposure for us

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date
• Material changes will be communicated via the app or email
• Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of new Terms
